UPDATES

The two days helped me regroup and look at the most value in the games as well as the best match-ups, how they have been playing against each other, etc.

On my 4 picks I went 3-1 (including a $550-2-teamer that paid out $1227), as well as my big play on the Padres with a $1685 pay out.

It was a nice pay day for me and I feel more confident about it.

I began with $10,000 and after last night, I pushed it from $8723 to $11,169 (+$1,169).

Overall, my picks are now, 7-7 and I am UP $1,169 because my system is that I DON'T bet the same on all games.  I generally follow a gut feeling, with research, how they've been playing, pitching match-up, and value with big bets:

Example:  Padres last night - I put $2,500 on them because:

•  The Padres were playing the Astros
•  Volquez was pitching at home
•  Astros were on the road
•  Padres have been playing winning ball lately
•  Good value - a middle of the road favorite.
