Overall, I am 15-10 right now and up a nice chunk because of my style of betting.
BEGINNING BALANCE = $10,000
NEW BALANCE = $18,529.40 (+$8, 529.40)
I went 3-0 yesterday with picks and 4-0 with my bets! These are the "morning afters" where I wish I would have put a 3-teamer-parlay in.......ha - oh well!!!
I am up overall $16,529.40 for the whole baseball season. I won just over $8,000 in the first half and am really hitting my stride in the second half! It took me a little while to figure teams out and some trial and error to find my system.....but I believe things are starting to click for me. My beginning balance for the second half of baseball began at $10,000 (+$8,380 from the first half).
I am expecting a little more trial and error after all the trades, but will be leery of that and look closely at those things.
Anyone following my picks? If you have been over all, you have been winning like I have. I don't bet the same on every game and I like to mix some parlays in. If you really like a team and they are a big favorite, you have to lay down a larger amount in order to profit. If you just lay down $190 to win $100 (-190 favorite), then you don't gain any ground. You're not playing to win, you're playing to "not lose".
For example, yesterday, I really liked the Nats (-170), Braves (-130), and the Tigers (-145) and I went $1,650 on both the Nats and Braves and then even bigger on the Tigers with a $1,850 bet. You don't have to bet as large as I, but you need to vary your bets, other people think differently, but I am up over 8 GRAND since the all-star break, so maybe I am on to something here.....
