Well - I went 2-1 yesterday, but didn't put any straight on the Bucs and lost big on the Tigers, the Nats came through for me though so I didn't take as big of a hit....

I am up overall $16,529.40 for the whole baseball season. I won just over $8,000 in the first half and am really hitting my stride in the second half! It took me a little while to figure teams out and some trial and error to find my system.....but I believe things are starting to click for me. My beginning balance for the second half of baseball began at $10,000 (+$8,380 from the first half).
I am expecting a little more trial and error after all the trades, but will be leery of that and look closely at those things.
Anyone following my picks? If you have been over all, you have been winning like I have. I don't bet the same on every game and I like to mix some parlays in. If you really like a team and they are a big favorite, you have to lay down a larger amount in order to profit. If you just lay down $190 to win $100 (-190 favorite), then you don't gain any ground. I like the Crew - they are hot late, I know their bullpen is rough right now, but Estrada has been pitching amazing, just not getting the run support, I expect that to change in Cincy with the Crew being one of the best Homerun hitting teams in the league.

REGROUP - TUESDAY, JULY 17th
Alright - so I am a wopping 4-6 right now....and for some reason, Mondays ALWAYS kill me.
It did again....lost $1300 last night on two parlays (Cards & Pirates) & (Cards and Padres) & then went straight up on Padres because they have been playing some above avg ball lately and of course lost that one.
So - I am regrouping - looking at todays games and going back to work.
I like to look at how teams are playing in all facets and get on the clubs that are playing good at that time.
I also like to take dogs with good pitchers......keep following, everyone goes through stretches like this. I will be honest with you when I win or lose, right now it just so happens that I am on a bit of a downer streak. It will turn around, I'll get back to you with my picks.....not that anyone is following me yet or commenting, so that good thing is, is that I am the only one on this downer streak.

Alright....took one on the chin, I should have stayed away all sunday....
I have 3 picks tonight....
I like Pittsburgh @ Colorado
I like San Diego @ home
I like The Cardinals being a dog vs. the Crew.
I am taking all 3.
$550 - 2-teamer on Cards and Bucs to win $1,750
$350 - 2-teamer on Cards and Padres to win $930
$1250 on Padres to win just over $1,000.

SUNDAY NIGHT PICK
BACK IN THE BLACK BABY!
I chose to stay away from Sunday afternoon/evening and am waiting out for the Sunday Night showdown between the Cards and the Reds...
I am up now about $400 after my pick Pirates bet....would have been up big if the Tigers would have held on to one of their leads in extras....
oh well....gotta move on.
I am at $10,402 (+$402).
I am now 3-3.
Part of my system is that I always mix up my bets where I feel a little better gut feeling. I like to stick some parlays in and I like to throw around a couple little ones with a couple real nice bets when I really have that gut feeling.
So - my pick for tonight - I like the Cardinals, I like Westbrook tonight vs. Bailey.
I am putting $775 on the Cards to win at (+100). So it will be to win $775.
Go Cards!

DAY 1 - HERE WE GO....
We'll start with an afternoon gimme...
AFTERNOON:
Arizona D-Backs @ -125 - put $350 on them to collect $280.
I also am going to be putting them in a parlay with the Pirates @ +127. I will put $100 on the parlay to gain $308.60.
EVENING:
I really like the Pirates - they are hot!
Take them!
Put the house on them - they are the underdog against a tough Zach Greinke, but McDonald is pitching for the Bucs! Plus - I will take the bullpen of the Bucs over the bullpen of the Crew anyday! It might come down to that! Take the Pirates!
I am putting $450 on them to collect $571.50.
My other pick of the night is the Reds - yup - we're staying Central Division. Latos has found his groove against an off and on Wainwright. Take the Reds.
I will put $350 on the Reds to win $294.12.
That's it!
